Students will master and be able to apply the following mathematical model to solve engineering problems:

• Properties of real and complex numbers, including sequences and series
• Elementary principles of linear algebra
• Differential and integral calculus for functions of one variable
• Simple ordinary differential equations
• Orthonormal systems, especially Fourier series
